For the 7th time, the mediation attempt to save Behnoud Shojaee from execution failed. The parents of the victim continued to insist on death penalty. 

According to Iran’s ghisas laws , it is up to the family of the victim to reverse the death penalty. Last week , Behnoud’s execution was delayed for another month and this seem to be his last chance to obtain pardon from victim’s family.
